This tool covers virtually all major manufacturers' diagnostic functions. It helps the technician to diagnose problems and make repairs faster; many common procedures are written into the tool so the technician can follow them (injectors, ignition, coils, fuelpump, etc.). It allows the technician to perform factory service procedures such as re-setting the service light, encoding keys, unlocking the immobilizer and configuring the immobilizer/alarm, making injection adjustments (CO Trimmer), adjusting the throttle valve position sensor(TPS), re-setting auto adaptive parameters, and making idling adjustments. The tool shows live data; it displays ECU data, reads stored faults (history) or live data (RPM, battery voltage, throttle angle). It's easy to up date the tool via "SmartCard" technology.

Diagnosis and recondition:The charger analyses the battery automatically and check its voltage. A pulse charge will start for the recondition of slightly sulphated batteries.
Charging:During the step of recharge, the voltage supplied to the battery increases and the charger delivers a medium to high charging current in order to reach 80% recharge of the battery.
Abs option:During the absorption step, the charger supplies a constant voltage up a complete recharge of the battery.
Maintenance:Once the battery is fully charged, the charging voltage decreases in order to reach maintenance voltage. This keeps the battery at full charge and ready to use.
Supply function:All chargers have a supply function allowing the connection of a current consumer during the recharge. This function also allows keeping the memory of the vehicle while replacing the battery.

The charger works in 3 stages: Stage 1. Maximum current is put into the battery until a pre-set terminal voltage is reached. Stage 2. When a terminal voltage is reached, voltage is stabilised and current is allowed to gradually reduce. Stage 3. When charging current falls to a pre-set level the battery is fully charged and the terminal voltage is reduced. This is known as the maintenance charge level. Measuring Compression on bikes cylinders is not always easy due to inaccessibility. A flexible delivery tube is a must.
